Hotel Special Offers, Cork Hotels

Day 5 (Tuesday) Chins-Up

Today Tuesday November 24th we are all in better spirits the public support is absolutely incredible, the offer of assistance from almost every hotel in cork kerry and today even as far as Dublin. Over 1200 emails of best wishes and sadness at it temporary closure. Today the staff were updated on progress which was not much as architects, engineers and loss adjusters were all  surveying the damage.

A million thanks to the general public for their offers of help to clean up and get assist in any way and all the  genuine business people offering various levels of support and services with no personal financial  gain. The goodwill alone is invaluable and very much appreciated by The Owners and staff.

Thanks to the media for not straying from the stories given to them. To our own staff for their chin -up approach to the situation.

After today we have no date for reopening and possibly wont for another few days, but there is one thing I know for sure...........The Kingsley Hotel is missed by a lot of people and we will be back better and stronger than ever before. The full team at the Hotel are all fired up, eager and ready to strike back as soon as is humanly possible.

To all our Leisure Club members who will all be personally contacted by Thursday and to the People who reside at The Kingsley Residences thank you all for your patience and understanding....we really appreciate it and hope to have you all back training and in your Residences sooner rather than later.

Hello, I'm so sorry to hear about all the damage. Just wondering what the latest is on the Health Club & when the gym (if not the pool) might re-open. With thanks, Sheila

Just to let you know we are all in this house so upset for what you are going through. We miss the hotel. Just locals who love sunday lunch and a walk by the (dirty word) river! The staff are always so fantastic and really hope Christmas is not ruined for all. Good luck with recovery and we look forward to the doors reopening. Susan Cork

We were to stay with you on Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend for American Thanksgiving, and have postponed our trip until you are back up and running! Clearly an experience worth waiting for, and we are cheering you on from Nasvhville, Tennessee. You and all the staff are in our thoughts and prayers, and we read your blog daily, so keep up the great work and hopefully we will see you very soon!

Very sad to read of your continued closure, but feeling very optimistic of your immindent reopening. Please keep us posted of the reopening so we can spread the good news. Fair play for keeping the chin up, despite the obvious pain you are all going through.Extra pair of hands if i can help with anything. Ciara (an avid fan of your lovely hotel)
