The Story Continues.....
Wishing we had more definite news, but work is progressing, perhaps a little slower than we had hoped, but advancing none the less.
Messages of encouragment from loyal customers and business colleagues continue to arrive by telephone, email and post every day. It is evident The Kingsley Hotel played an integral part in the everyday lives of the local community, be it for coffee with friends, celebrations or keeping fit in the Health Club, the hotel's absence is felt by many.
To those of you who have postponed your spring breaks and family functions until The Kingsley re-opens, we thank you sincerely for your loyalty, support and patience! The staff and managment look forward to once again extending that warm welcome for which The Kingsley Hotel is renowned.

Ken SellarsI'm planning on visiting Cork in September. I am hoping you've reopened your fine hotel by then. It's very sad that once again public officials make bad decisions but are not held accountable. I used to be a public employee and I always felt responsible for my actions. |

Roy CumminsHi, I too wish the owners and staff well and hope that you re-open as soon as possible. I run on the path behind the Kingsley several days each week and it doesn't seem right to have the place empty. Rumours abound regarding a possible re-opening date or whether the hotel will re-open at all. I have a vested interest as I have a €100 hotel voucher. Here's hoping that I can raise a glass to and in the Hotel in the near future. Best Wishes, Roy |
