Hotel Special Offers, Cork Hotels

Progress.....

Work is well underway to restore the hotel to its former glory, as floors are lifted and furnishings are moved, a clearer picture of the road ahead is becoming evident.

As the festive season falls upon us, Christmas lights and tree baubles remain safely stowed away at The Kingsley, until 2010. Those of you who frequent the hotel will be all too familiar with its warm and inviting atmosphere, especially evident over the festive season. We look forward to welcoming our loyal Christmas Residents back next year to enjoy a magical Kingsley Christmas.   A special note to our Junior Guests, we have been in touch with Santa and told him where you will be on Christmas morning, so no need to worry about lost presents!

Once again, thank you all for the endless good wishes received by telephone, email and blog, each and every one are cherished.   Rest assured, we will keep you all informed of progress, with a further update expected on Friday.

In the meantime, our reservation and sales departments are awaiting your call on 021 4800 500 or alternatively email resv@kingsleyhotel.com.

Brendan & Geraldine O'Brien

It is with our heartfelt sadness that I write to you today. To see the Kingsley on our TV screens with so much damage breaks our hearts. Our thoughts are with you and all your wonderful staff at this time. We watched the footage on youtube and it brought tears to our eyes to see the hotel surrounded by what can be described as a nightmare scenario. The city of cork.... the streets we walked so much at Christmas time it's unbelievable. We know everybody will rise above this disaster and the Kingsley will recover and get back to normality. As Brendan and myself look forward to our 10th Christmas at the Kingsley we hope given the time restraints with the damage caused that we will see you all in a few weeks time.please tell all the staff that they are in our thoughts every day . sincere and warm greetings.....Brendan and Geraldine.
